Name And The Names

The name 'aisu'...the origin...'ai' is from the first two letters from my own name, 'su'...well..its my parents' first words of their names. I believe that biological identity plays a great role in your names...and I don't think of any awkwardness in it. Its no well thought name in any sort of way I think...cause my friends call me 'aisu'...cause my name is..well think it out what my name is? Its not that difficult!Anyways.. in building an identity..names definitely play great role in it..something we share with a few...but different with so many others. So I checked what my name really is...well 'ai' means love in Japanese(I love Japan!)..and 'su' means in 'water' in Turkish and Japanese(at least that's what the site says). My name technically means 'love water'. Help me out here....is it weird?? OK here's the thing...I love liquid more than solid..and I do drink a lot of water because I think its gives unseen energy and refreshment.(Skin glows according to some I believe!).

I am finding some sort of way I could connect to my name. Somehow I am 'linked' to it...in a not so regular way!(???).

Names play a great role in people's life... we call 'different' individuals different names which makes us more different.

I am trying to imagine an era where people don't have names..here's a situation..like what would be situation when friends huddle together and calls each other 'dude'..'dude'...'dudette'...which could be annoying like some sort of surfers get together(no offence.hope none taken!). Here names play a great role..for instance save us from annoyance. Have you ever thought about etymology(study of names and origin..no problem if you haven't heard before!)...my real name means 'prosperity' (life hasn't been too prosperous but I try to make the best of what I have!)...have you checked out yours? Its funny when I think what Bob, Robin, Alicia, Shirley, Thomson, Sexton, Brian....all means??(people with these names, no harm and tease intended!) Come to think of it, most of us never thought of it...My cousin's name is 'Babu'...what does this mean'...feels like baby words strung together...ba..bu..

Even the judges of spelling bee competition find hard time finding its meaning and origin... Another thought...how many of us like our names?? Hmm..??I like my name...and do you? My cousin mentioned hating his name...cause that name is like from 'Jurassic period' and sounds soo old!! Like he is some 60 year old potbellied man with yellow teeth...who sits in sofa all day long...!!Eh?!!(Its 'over the top' idea and the man..mostly these people with this name fits the picture).

I don't know when people started finding names and calling each other!(I suggest you look upon wikipedia? Why I don't? I am lazy,ok?!) Whoever found it had hard time before, got so irritated and discovered! Funny, What would have been the first name?...Any thoughts??!..
